About
Dr. Mariah Striegel graduated with her veterinary degree from the Royal Veterinary College in London, England. She received her Bachelor of Science in her home state at the University of Vermont, where she majored in animal science with a minor in wildlife biology. Prior to attending veterinary school, her primary focus was equine and large animal work, volunteering at an equine rehab facility and working on a dairy farm throughout her undergraduate training. During veterinary school, she found a new passion for small animal emergency medicine and surgery.
When not at work, she spends most of her time with her husband in Vermont or New York, and enjoys hiking, biking, or skiing.
