About
Dr. Gabriela Cortez graduated from Western University of Health Sciences to earn her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2021. During vet school, she completed the certification of Veterinary Acupuncture at the Chi University to treat both large and small animals. Following graduation, Dr. Cortez completed a small animal rotating internship in San Diego, then joined the Mass Vet team in 2022 to start her surgical residency.
Dr. Cortez has a particular interest in both soft tissue and orthopedic minimally invasive procedures. Outside of work, Dr. Cortez enjoys playing volleyball, hiking, and spending time with her spicy cat named Cannoli, dog named Goose, and husband named Keaton, who is also a veterinarian.
